The shepherd’s hut below Kamnik Saddle is a well known rest point along the hiking trail from Kamniška Bistrica. It is located roughly halfway up the route and offers hikers a chance to take a short break in a peaceful alpine setting before continuing towards the steeper final ascent to Kamnik Saddle. Surrounded by mountain scenery, it’s a simple but important stop where you can rest, have a snack, and enjoy the atmosphere of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps before reaching the higher parts of the trail.
